The center offers educational tours that provide insights into the cruel practice of dancing bears and the organization's efforts to protect them. Learn about the bears' individual stories, their rescue, and the ongoing care they receive. The facility also houses elephants rescued from similar situations of abuse and neglect.

History:

Wildlife SOS was established in 1995 with the aim of protecting Indian wildlife. The Agra Bear Rescue Facility opened in 1999 as a response to the widespread practice of using sloth bears for entertainment. The organization worked closely with the Indian government to enforce the ban on dancing bears and provide a safe haven for rescued animals. Over the years, the facility has rescued and rehabilitated hundreds of sloth bears, giving them a second chance at life. The success of the bear rescue program led to the establishment of an elephant rescue center within the same facility.
