It's believed that his spirit continues to protect the area. Visitors often leave water bottles at the shrine, hoping they will be blessed and bring good luck. The memorial features a neatly maintained complex with a small museum showcasing Baba Harbhajan Singh's belongings. The location offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

History:

According to local legend, Baba Harbhajan Singh drowned in a glacier while carrying supplies. His body was found after three days following a dream where he indicated its location. It's said he warned his fellow soldiers of an impending Chinese attack, which saved many lives. Following this, a shrine was built in his memory. Even today, soldiers believe his spirit patrols the border and alerts them to any potential danger. He is considered a guardian deity by the soldiers and locals alike.
