History:

Built in 1845 by Maharaja Vinay Singh for his queen Shila, Siliserh Lake Palace initially served as a hunting lodge and a retreat for the royal family. The lake itself was created by constructing a dam between two hills, providing a vital water source for the region. Over time, the lodge was transformed into a magnificent palace, reflecting the grandeur of Rajput architecture. In later years, the palace was converted into a heritage hotel, allowing visitors to experience the royal lifestyle and the captivating history of the region. Today, it stands as a testament to the architectural prowess and romantic legacy of Alwar's rulers.
