Sardar Sobha Singh (1901-1986) was a celebrated Indian painter known for his Sikh religious paintings. He settled in Andretta, a village near Kangra, in 1949 and established his studio and art gallery. He dedicated his life to painting, sculpting, and promoting art. His most famous works include portraits of Guru Nanak, Guru Gobind Singh, Sohni Mahiwal, Heer Ranjha, and national heroes like Bhagat Singh. After his death, his studio was converted into an art gallery and museum, preserving his legacy and showcasing his artistic contributions to future generations.
