History:

Andretta Pottery was established in 1983 by Mansimran 'Mini' Singh, a Delhi Blue Potter trained in the UK. Inspired by the artistic community of Andretta, which was founded by Irish theatre artist Norah Richards, Mini Singh set out to revive and promote the art of pottery in the region. Over the years, Andretta Pottery has become a thriving center for ceramic art, attracting artists and students from all over the world. The studio has played a significant role in preserving traditional pottery techniques while also encouraging innovation and experimentation. It continues to be a hub for creativity and cultural exchange, contributing to the artistic heritage of the Kangra Valley.
