Trimandir is a unique temple complex that houses deities from Jainism, Shaivism, and Vaishnavism, promoting interfaith harmony. It's a modern architectural marvel with a two-story structure. The ground floor serves as a hall for discourses and events, while the upper floor houses the main temple. The central deity is Simandhar Swami, a Tirthankara who currently exists in another universe. The temple also features Shiva and Vishnu deities, along with Jain Tirthankaras. The complex includes beautifully landscaped gardens, a museum, and a mini-train for children. It offers a serene and spiritually enriching experience for visitors of all faiths.
The Trimandir concept was envisioned by Dada Bhagwan, a spiritual leader who sought to create a temple where all religions could be represented and respected. The first Trimandir was built in Adalaj, near Gandhinagar, and inaugurated in 2003. It was built to promote unity and understanding among different religious beliefs. The temple's construction was funded by donations from followers of Dada Bhagwan. Since its opening, it has become a popular pilgrimage site and a symbol of religious tolerance. Several Trimandirs have been built in other locations across India and the world, following the success of the Adalaj Trimandir.
